One should backup data more often

Rescueing a computer from the fire

With the risk of losing his life, this person was rescued from the burning Philippine President Line building in Manila, holding a computer in his arms. It happened two weeks ago, but the image is so compelling that I wanted to share it here with you. I keep wondering why the man did it. Did the computer contain data that was of enormous importance to him? Or was it just for the value of the hardware?

I think you're the type of guy that would also carry out computers when there is a fire going on :-)

@Olga: I think so too, but only if it's a Wintendo machine :-)

@Stefan: not entirely true, I care for all (technological) creatures, great and small ;-)
