Humble Voice, a community of artists

Humble Voice is a new community for artists (and art lovers). Not unlike Myspace, it offers the possibility for artists to create profiles. Photography, art, films, writing and music may then be added to this profile and shared with the community. Additional features include calendars to track local readings, art shows, band performances and community events. Each artist community homepage contains featured artists, each day's top listened to/viewed/read creations as well as a shout out to the newest members of each community. Members can manipulate their own profiles by uploading a profile photograph, their own art of any and all kinds, basic biographical information, messages and friends' profiles as well as unique-to-the-site features with bulletin boards, commentary, featured texts, blog space, and community actions and photos.
Humble Voice, 'created by artists for artists', sees itself in the first place as a great way for artists to make connections with other artists in the same or different fields. It strikes me as a web 2.0-spiced version of the Walker Art Gallery's Mnartists.org. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any integration possibilities with sites like flickr.com, Youtube.com or other existing platforms. This could be a killer feature, attracting artists already using these platforms for exposing their work. Just imagine the possibilities of a mashed-up version of Humble Voice where the artists are able to sell their work using Ebay through it's API's.
